Greetings,
I was born in San Antonio Texas. After our family moved to Wichita Kansas, I was saved while attending Wichita Youth for Christ in my Senior year of High School. I received my formal education at Kansas City Bible College, majoring in Bible and Music. I attended Mid Western Baptist Theological Seminary, majoring in Education an Youth Ministry. I am a Southern Baptist certified leader in Adult Church Music Administration.
God has allowed me the privilege of serving churches in Kansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina and Missouri. For some 23 years served as Minister of Music at Ballwin Baptist Church. It was during this time that I was privileged to lead music reading sessions for several major choral publishing companies; become certified to lead conferences in Adult Music Administration, Sound and Lighting, Touring with Youth Choirs, and served as Road Director for 5 years for the All State Youth Choir. I am a Past President of the Missouri Music Men, a singing group made up of Ministers of Music in the state of Missouri, and God has given me the opportunity to assemble and prepare the choir for The Young Messiah. In recent years I have had the pleasure of singing with the Ambassadors of Harmony here in St Charles County.
I have been married to Diane Standley Jessen for over 50 years. We have three children and six grandchildren.
It is an extreme pleasure to have served FBC St. Peters for the past 10 years.
