Men
Men's fellowship on the last Saturday of each month. All men 18 and over are welcome. The purpose of the men's fellowship is to equip and encourage men to carry out their responsibilities to God, church, and family in accordance with God's will, as revealed through his Word and Spirit. As a group of Christian men we will encourage each other to deepen our relationship with God so that we will bring all aspects of our lives into submission to God, create an environment where we will feel comfortable enough to discuss our weaknesses, and hold each other accountable, and to be spiritual mentors to our younger brothers.
Ladies
Our ladies ministry at First Baptist Church of St. Peters operates under the leadership of our Pastor and his teaching ministry. Through our Sunday School classes and worship on Sunday mornings along with small groups on Sunday nights, we care for one another through prayer, encouragement and Bible teaching. We have ladies Bible studies periodically, based on the needs of the women. We gather for specific times of fellowship about 4 times throughout the year. We also have a ministry where older women are in a teaching context with younger women based on the Titus 2:3-5 passage.
Our aim is to see the women of our church to grow in their knowledge and walk with the Lord by being in the Word and prayer on a daily basis - that they would, like the Proverbs 31 woman, strive to please Him in all they say and do.
Silver Threads
Silver Threads is a senior (55+) ministry of our church. Meetings consist of devotions, guest speakers, and a potluck luncheon. Silver Threads meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall. On the fourth Tuesday of each month, the group meets at a local restaurant at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and fellowship.
