Welcome to First Baptist Church of St. Peters

How can we help? What are our beliefs? Have you listened to our sermons? Where are we located? Most importantly, are you repenting of your sins and trusting in Christ alone for forgiveness?

Purpose Statement
Purpose Statement

Student Ministry exists to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We desire to make eternal investments in the lives of students and their families. (Matt. 6:19-21)

Our three tasks are:

  1. Make student disciples (have a grasp of spiritual disciplines)
  2. Help every student experience their “Rite of Passage” (understanding their adult responsibility)
  3. Help every student embrace their “Significant Task” (to be a blessing to others, Genesis 12:3)

Student Leaders by Definition

M.O.M.s and P.O.P.s : Older High School students who serve as mentors and role models to younger students.

Grandparents: Adult leaders that serve with M.O.M.s and P.O. P.s in a support and guidance role.

Youth workers: Adults that love teenagers and work together to support the student ministry by performing important tasks like chaperoning, leading small group discussions, and encouraging and role modeling. (These people can also be parents!!)

Youth Parents: Vital part of Student ministries, your support and input is extremely important to me and the other youth workers.

You are always welcome to attend any youth event even if your kids tell you otherwise!
